The Social Changery
Live & Learn conducts in the evaluation of a web-based app, AllyNetworks, created by DHTI, The Social Changery, & DevCollaborative which serves as searchable database of mental health providers and services in Alameda County. The app is designed for two groups of underserved populations - refugee/immigrant participants and transition age youth from newcomer families.
Heart & Soul, Inc.
Live & Learn is working with Heart & Soul, Inc. to help them evaluate the HOPE program in San Mateo, a Whole Person Care Pilot Program. The HOPE program is a joint effort by several San Mateo CBOs to provide a peer mentoring program to support wellness, recovery, and resiliency for people returning to the community after hospitalization.
Greater Oregon Behavioral Health Inc.
Live & Learn assists the GOBHI Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative/David Romprey Oregon Warmline Peer Team to identify instruments to measure and demonstrate impacts of the peer support relationship and recommend data collection protocol based on best practices in peer support research.
Shifa Consulting
Shifa Consulting -- led by Leah Harris -- is a woman-owned microenterprise that provides training to social service agencies, peer-run programs, community programs, suicide prevention coalitions or nonprofits on trauma-informed practices, suicide prevention, and storytelling. Shifa provides expertise to Live & Learn on projects related to social justice activism, trauma-informed care, and suicide prevention.
Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Live & Learn benefits as a client of the Small Business Development Center at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at California Polytechnic State University. The CIE offers services for startups and established companies, including expert counseling, and training. Business advisors help Live & Learn with planning, marketing, sales, government contracting, operations, and technology.

California Association of Mental Health Peer-Run Organizations
Under contract with the California Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission, the California Association of Mental Health Peer-Run Organizations' (CAMHPRO) partnered with Live & Learn to develop methods to evaluate the impact of advocacy on mental health policy and services in the State of California.
Intentional Peer Support
Intentional Peer Support LLC provides training in IPS -- a powerful framework for creating relationships where both people learn and grow together. IPS advises Live & Learn on projects related to peer support, peer respites, and social enterprise.
On all projects, we partner with community-based organizations, governments, and researchers to maximize what we can learn from each other. Most of our collaborations are based on long-term, reciprocal relationships with our partners, with whom power and influence is shared.
